The Sole low profile Thin sports is a great off the shelf orthotic footbed, ideal for sports wear and every day use. These supportive arch footbeds can be worn as they are, straight off the peg, or can be custom moulded to the specific shape of your foot using a conventional oven at home. This lower volume model is intended for us in footwear that does not have enough space/volume to take the standard Sole Softec footbed. They work particularly well in close fitting ski boots.
Orthotic/arch support footbeds enhance comfort and performance, providing superior foot stabilisation and aiding posture when compared to the cheap non-supportive footbeds supplied in most outdoor footwear.
Sole footbeds can be heated in your oven at home (following the instructions provided and paying particular attention to the temperature of your oven). The arch height adjusts to your required level but does not flatten out completely. The forefoot takes an imprint of the balls of your feet and toes and the heel cup takes on the specific shape of your heel. This creates continuous contact points accross the soles of your feet, leaving no area unsupported. It all adds up to superior fit, unrivalled comfort and support.
