The Scott Aztec Limited : Scott Aztec : Scott Aztec Limited - Available in the UK from Backcountry UK only :
Back by popular demand, the Scott Aztec lives on in this special limited edition ski. Now in it's fourth season, the Aztec Limited has become the stereotypical all-mountain-ski. Scott had originally intended to replace the Aztec with the softer flexing Aztec Maya. Whilst the Aztec Maya's softer flex is an advantage for female skiers, it is a disadvantage for most men. For this reason Scott decided to relaunch the Aztec as the Aztec Limited. The Aztec Limited is identical to last seasons Aztec except for a name change and graphics update. The Aztec Limited is only available this season in the UK from Backcountry UK. Top ranking in ski tests for three years, this unique ski performs well in all conditions of terrain. And is widely recomended as a touring ski. Ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers looking for an easy handling, stable and light ski.
NB - The image shown is the Aztec Pro, the graphics on the Aztec Limited are identical except the print is white where it is shown here as yellow.

Our Advice : The Aztec has proven it'self suitable for use in a variety of activities, snow conditions and terrain. A great choice for intermediate to advanced skiers wanting to push their backcountry ski skills to the next level. The Aztec is robust enough to use as a general purpose ski for a mix of piste, off piste and touring. The Ski has an all-mountain foot-print, providing sufficient float in all but the deapest of snow and the flex is even, lively and fun to ski. This is possibly one of the best value all round skis we've seen in rececnt seasons. The guides and instructors we work with say the Aztec Limited out performs skis such as the Rossignol bandit B2 (now called the Bandit B78). The main problem we have in the shop here is trying to persuade customers that a cheaper ski will ski as well as (and we know better than) a mre expensive one. Fortunately the Aztec has had such good reviews that you don't just have to take our word for it !!!!
Al, Jason and David on our test team have chosen the Aztec as their general work ski. Although Al will also be using a Dynastar Legend 8000 this season. The Aztec Limited is an excellent choice for ski mountaineers wanting all-round performance with out compromising weight.
NB - MOUNTING BINDINGS If you are buying skis and bindings together, we will require your boot sole length to position the binding in the correct place on the ski. We will also require your current height and weight to adjust the safety relaese on the binding to the recommende settings. This information can be entered up on the binding pages where aqpplicable. We do not offer guaranteed next day delivery on ski/binding packages.
