Scarpa Denali TT Thermo : Manufacturers description. The Denali TT is a great ski touring boot because it's full of character and a classy downhill performer! Four buckles and a Velcro strap give a snug fit without closing the foot in a painful vice. An aggressive precise, boot, with great lateral grip,the Denali TT is sensitive with rear and front support promising the extremely powerful turns modern skiing demands - even in difficult snow conditions.
The extremely rigid Pebax® shell precisely transmits foot pressure to the ski. That's why "communication" between skier and ski are so natural. This year, the Denali presents a double injection cuff which hugs the tibia and enhances the qualities of this great ski touring boot even more. Last year, the Denali XT, thanks to the variants on the PLUSFIT® compression molded liner and the sporty micro adjust buckles, was considerably lighter than before (500 grams less).
The new Denali TT version performs even better and while it's a pleasure on winter ascents, it's a joy on the downhill, even on steep and difficult terrain.

Our Advice: The Denali TT is probably the most versatile boot in Scarpa's alpine boot range. These boots are suitable for a mixture of skiing activities, touring, off piste/freeride skiing and piste skiing. They are a great all rounder for those of you that want to use one boot to do everything.
The TT offers a more precise fit than Scarpa's dedicated touring boots. The thermoform innerboots are warmer than standard inners and can be custom formed to the shape of your foot. Robust yet realatively lightweight, the TT is a good solid workhorse. If you intend to do a lot of touring, we recommend buying a pair of soft tongues and swapping them for the original ones when out ski touring. This makes the shell far more forgiving against the shins on long skinning ascents. We also recommend using Conformable supportive footbeds with this product. Without stabilising the foot on such a footbed we are unable to guarantee fit.
