A compact and lightweight self-locking pulley/hauling device
The mini traxion is a very versatile piece of kit - you can use it as a stand alone pulley, an auto locking pulley for load hauling and rescue scenarios and also as a jammer for prussiking and climbing ropes. A 'de rigeur' item for big wall climbers, it is also carried by many guides for crevasse rescue purposes - being faster and more efficient than traditional prussik/pulley systems.
- Efficient and compact, aluminum sheave mounted on a self-lubricating bearing.
- Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot: works even on frozen or muddy ropes.
- Cam can be locked in open position so device can be used as a simple pulley.
- Can be used to ascend a rope.
