Meindl Vakuum Lady MFS Gore-tex

The Meindl Vakuum MFS is a sturdy updated version of the Burma designed for year-round hillwalking and trekking. The (MFS)memory foam system gives a firm but comfortable fit and secures the ankle in place. It has excellent under foot support and uses a Vibram sole giving a good grip in rocky terrain. A high ankle cuff and Gore-Tex lining keep your feet dry in all conditions.

Like all footwear, the boot is only as good as the fit! If you require advice on your choice and more importantly the fit of your footwear, please contact the shop. In store we offer a specialist, custom boot fitting service with a boot fit guarantee. 

Remember to bring your favourite socks and any orthotic/arch support footbeds with you. If you are unsure about the fit or choice of your footwear, please ring the shop as unused/unsoiled footwear can be exchanged and put back into stock.

The comfort and performance of this type of footwear is greatly enhanced by the use of orthotic/arch support footbeds such as those from Conformable or Sole, which we feel out perform footbeds from companies such as Superfeet. Due to a total lack of foot support, we do not recommend the use of Sorbothane footbeds for hillwalking.
