Mammut Pulse : The revolutionary avalanche beacon Made in Switzerland.The Mammut Pulse avalanche transceiver sets new standards in avalanche victim detection. Combining state of the art dual technology antennas with user friendly software(digital/analog), the transceiver aslo detects a "Pulse" or heart beat. These vital statistics are tranmitted with the victims signal and can be received by other Pulse units. The pulse is compatible with all makes of 457 KHz avalanche transceivers. The vital statistics information can only be detected by other Pulse units. The Pulse will behave like any other type of transceiver when it's signal is detected by a none Pulse unit.
Another improvement over existing units is the 360 degree display and the built in back light. This features a distance meter and directional finder.
Like previous Barryvox units, the Pulse comes with a range of personal settings, allowing the user to customise their search settings. This unit has already found favour amongst professional users during field tests.
