Our Advice: This is a great lighteight shovel, ideal for building those kickers at the edge of the piste or carrying on a spring touring trip. The blade is compact for carrying compared to the BD Lynx and slips eaily into most packs. The detatchable shaft is telescopic and has a comfortable T grip. If you are planning to use your shovel for serious expedition use or snowholing, we recommend buying a shovel with an alloy blade.
