The Giro Nine.10 is a great value middle market ski helmet that packs a lot of punch for it's money. Giro have developed their G9.10 helmet using their Super Fit design method. Giro design all their helmets using a database of anatomic measurements and skier input, to create some of the best fitting and highest performance ski helmets available. The Giro Nine.10 features a hard shell with a polystyrene inner. Unlike most of the ski helmets available, the G9 has a plastic cover over the foam around the rim of the helmet. This helps to protect the light weight foam from chipping/ getting damaged either in use or in transit. It also prevents the build up of ice and snow that sticks to cheaper helmets where the foam linings are simlpy covered in mesh. Giro then test the design repeatedly in the lab and in the hands of riders so they can gather feed back and make refinements to create a final product that fits and performs at the highest level. The Giro G9 has adjustable Venting aloowing as much or as little air into the helmet as required. There is also a goggle retaining strap at the rear of the helmet. The Giro Nine .10 is compatible with Giro goggles as well as a range of other makes of goggle.
