The Giro G10 is the most popular all-mountain helmet on the market, combining Giro's Super Fit design method with performance, style and elegance. The G10 features three ventilation settings, enabling optimum temperature control and comfort. The Super Fit design uses a database of anatomic measurements and skier input, making the Giro G10 one of the best fitting ski helmets available. The Giro G10 features a hard shell with a polystyrene inner. Unlike most of the ski helmets available, the G10 has a plastic cover over the foam around the rim of the helmet. This helps to protect the light weight foam from chipping/ getting damaged either in use or in transit. It also prevents the build up of ice and snow that sticks to cheaper helmets where the foam linings are simlpy covered in mesh. Giro then test the design repeatedly in the lab and in the hands of riders so they can gather feed back and make refinements to create a final product that fits and performs at the highest level. The Giro G10 has adjustable Venting allowing as much or as little air into the helmet as required. There is also a goggle retaining strap at the rear of the helmet. The Giro G10 is compatible with Giro goggles as well as a range of other makes of goggle.
