Fritschi Binding Return Springs. These springs fit all models of Fritschi binding new and old alike. They make it easier to bring your ski around when performing a skinning kick turn. They also stop your skis dropping to far from your foot. This makes it a lot easier to side step up a slope when you have slipped out of a skinning track. Fritchi's Explore bindings have return springs fitted as standard, but Free Ride and Free Ride Plus bindings require a retro-fit.
Our Advice: These are items that tend to need replacing every so often as they receive a fair amount of stress and occassionally snap. It is a good idea to carry a spare return spring with you on extended tours, as they're easy to fit in the field and come with screws, incase the originals are lost during brakage. They require a posidrive number 2 scew driver to fit. No drilling is required to fit these to Free Ride and Free Ride Plus bindings for the first time. If you get stuck with any thing, ring the shop and speak to on of our Ski Technicians.
