Our Advice : The BCA DTS Tracker is a very popular unit mainly down to its' ease of use. If you're scared of technology and generally not great with electrical gadgets, then the Tracker is worth consideration. This unit has an LCD screen, displaying a distance and directional indicater and is suitable for use by any one from novice upwards. Fast and effective when in search mode, the DTS Tracker pinpoints avalanche victims in minimal time. This unit like most of the better devices, lets the opperator know if there are multiple burrials. The Tracker is quite heavy, compared to other units, however the plus points in range and ease of use, out way the down sides. We think the Tracker is a great unit for use with beginners though a lot of our more experienced customers prefer Mammut's Barryvox because of it's personal settings. Wether you choose a Barryvox, Tracker or X1 really doesn't matter as all of them are excellent units, the most important thing is that you learn to use the unit that you buy. We throw in a set of good quality batteries with each transciever we sell.
