Our Advice : The 3 part expedition pole features Black Diamond's reliable Flick Lock adjustment system. This tends not to be prone to the freezing up or collapsing associated with internal adjustment cones and is easilly opperated with gloved hands. Constructed from robust 7075 alloy tubing, 3 part adjustable poles of this type tend to be weaker and more flexible than 2 part poles. Spare baskets and lower pole sections are available as spares.
Tip : Keep some duck tape (gaffa tape) handy on your poles, useful for quick repairs and binding your skins to your skis when they come unstuck.
